TUCSON, Ariz. - An Excessive Heat Warning that has been in effect for the Tucson area since Wednesday has been extended through 8 p.m. Friday.
Dangerously hot conditions, with temperatures ranging from 102 to 109 degrees, are expected in the Tucson metro area and much of Southern Arizona.
The National Weather Service recommends that people limit their exposure outdoors.
