TUCSON, Ariz. — Southern Arizonans should take care when spending time outdoors Wednesday.
The National Weather Service issued an Extreme Heat Warning, predicting temperatures to climb between 102 and 108 degrees Wednesday, May 6.
The warning applies to the Tucson Metro Area, Pima County, southeast Pinal County and the Tohono O'odham Nation.
The potential for heat-related illnesses and danger to outdoor workers is high Tuesday.
