...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 430 PM MST THIS
AFTERNOON FOR NORTHEASTERN PIMA COUNTY...
At 232 PM MST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
thunderstorms producing heavy rain in Brawley Wash at Milewide Road.
Up to 3 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or
expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.
SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges.
IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban
areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

Drexel Heights, Three Points, San Isidro, Kitt Peak, Tucson
Estates, Valencia West, Tucson Mountain Park, Saguaro National Park
West, Ali Chukson, Fresnal, San Pedro, Fresnal Canyon, Pan Tak,
Ryan AirField and Ali Molina.
This includes the following highways...
Route 86 between mile markers 117 and 167. Route 286 between mile
markers 17 and 45.
This includes the following Flash Flood Prone Locations...
Manville Rd at Brawley Wash.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.
