TUCSON, Ariz. (KGUN) — Often, our weather changes restrict traffic. Today is one of those days.
The road to Mount Lemmon is closed to all at the base, except to residents and employees with ID. Many times, this is done as a precaution to keep the road clear until after 9:00 AM, when the sun can assist in melting any roadway icing that's accumulated overnight.
Work tonight through Friday night on ADOT's Diverging Diamond Interchange at Houghton will affect east/west travel on I-10. Overnight restrictions will be in place to detour all traffic off the freeway at the Houghton exit and reenter I-10 at the Houghton entrance ramp. One direction of I-10 at a time will have the restriction performed this week.
