Arizona Wildcats senior shooting guard Gabe York was named Pac-12 player of the week for his efforts in last weekend's sweep of the Bay Area schools.

York scored 19 against California and 32 against Stanford.

Thanks to the wins, Arizona moved up to No. 15, from No. 18, in the AP Top 25 college basketball poll. Kansas remains No. 1, followed by Michigan State, Villanova, Virginia and Xavier. Oregon, at No. 8, is the highest-ranked Pac-12 team, and Utah is No. 12. California moved up to No. 24 from No. 25 despite losing to Arizona.

The Wildcats (24-7, 12-6 Pac-12) finished tied with California for third place in the conference. The Golden Bears took the No. 3 seed after winning the tiebreaker with Arizona.

Arizona, which enters this week's Pac-12 Tournament as the No. 4 seed, plays the winner of Wednesday's Colorado-Washington State game at 3:40 p.m. Thursday in Las Vegas.
