ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) - Allonzo Trier and Kadeem Allen scored 13 points each and No. 11 Arizona beat Boise State 68-59 in the third-place game of the DirecTV Wooden Legacy on Sunday.
Ryan Anderson added 11 points and seven rebounds, and Gabe York and Mark Tollefsen added 10 points each for Arizona. The Wildcats (6-1) were upset by Providence 69-65 in the semifinals after narrowly escaping with a 75-73 overtime win against winless Santa Clara in the three-day event.
James Webb III led the Broncos (3-4) with 17 points and Nick Duncan added 10 before he fouled out late in the second meeting between the teams in 10 days. The Wildcats also beat the Broncos 88-76 in Tucson, Arizona.
