The Arizona Cardinals improved their roster in an effort to make a push up the tough NFC West. They added elite receiver DeAndre Hopkins in a blockbuster trade, which gives second-year quarterback Kyler Murray a true No. 1 pass-catching option alongside veteran Larry Fitzgerald.
The Cardinals focused much of their offseason attention on the defense, using the No. 8 overall pick in the draft on linebacker Isaiah Simmons. They also added linebackers Devon Kennard and De'Vondre Campbell, along with defensive lineman Jordan Phillips, in free agency. Arizona hopes all those additions can lift it into playoff contention.
