PHOENIX - Police in North Carolina have issued a warrant for Arizona Cardinals offensive tackle Desmond Harrison on multiple charges, according to officials.
The felony arrest warrant was issued by the Greensboro Police Department in North Carolina in regards to assault by strangulation and assault on a female, officials said.
The incident was initially reported to authorities on Tuesday, according to police.
On Wednesday, the Arizona Cardinals released Harrison, making safety Jalen Thompson the only pick for the Cardinals from the supplemental draft.
