TUCSON, Arizona — The Tucson Sugar Skulls are partnering with local restaurants who are feeling the economic impact of the coronavirus.

While the season continues to be suspended, the team is offering a buy-one-get-one-free ticket special to customers who order from the team's restaurant partners through April. (see below for a list of restaurants)

"This is a very difficult time for everyone in our community and for businesses who are doing their best to serve us every day through this crisis," said Sugar Skulls owner Cathy Guy. "This is our way of encouraging our fans and the public as a whole to support the business community as we deal with the effects of COVID-19."

Customers with a minimum order of $20 for take-out or delivery from participating restaurant partners between now and April 30th will receiver a voucher to buy up to two tickets and get two free to either of the first two home games of the 2020 season. Fans will be able to redeem the vouchers through the team's online ticket seller, Ticketmaster, or take the voucher to the Sugar Skulls office at Kino Stadium.

The Indoor Football League is still planning on playing in 2020, although the Sugar Skulls games through April 11th are postponed.
