TUCSON, Arizona — Salpointe football defeated Desert Edge, 29-17, in a Class 5A state semifinal game on Friday night.
Quarterback Treyson Bourguet accounted for three touchdowns and Antonio Martinez had an interception return for a touchdown in the win.
The second seeded Lancers will play top seed Horizon next Friday at 8pm at Sun Devil Stadium for the state title.
