The NOVA Home Loans Arizona Bowl has moved the date for the 2017 bowl game to Friday, December 29, 2017. The game will kickoff at 3:30pm MST at Arizona Stadium.
It has been moved up a day because the University of Arizona basketball Pac-12 opener will likely be played at McKale Center that Saturday afternoon. Additionally, the game won't compete with the Fiesta Bowl up in Glendale that same day.
"We were very successful last year with a Friday afternoon game," said Alan Young the executive director of the Nova Home Loans Arizona Bowl."
The game will be televised live on CBS Sports Network and feature teams from the Mountain West and Sun Belt conferences. Both the Mountain West and Sun Belt Conference have committed to sending teams to the Bowl through the 2019 season.
This will be the third annual Nova Home Loans Arizona Bowl.
