It'll be an all Aggies Arizona Bowl, as New Mexico State and Utah State square off

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - In the third installment of the Arizona Bowl, the game will feature two sets of Aggies.  With New Mexico State and Utah State squaring off in Tucson on December 29th at Arizona Stadium.

The announcement is especially exciting for New Mexico State, as those Aggies have ended a 57 year bowl game drought.  The last time they played? 1960...against Utah State.

The Arizona Bowl wasn't without it's share of bowl season drama....the announcement was delayed because of the higher ranked bowls....a Nova Home Loans Arizona Bowl spokesperson told KGUN9 that they weren't sure if the 2 teams they thought they would have, would end up in the bowl.  The 2 they wanted did end up in the bowl, with NMSU and USU.

The Arizona Bowl will be played at Arizona Stadium on December 27th at 3:30.  The game will be televised on CBS Sports Network.
