Arizona's final non-conference football game and its first road contest of the season will be played at UTEP on Friday, Sept. 15, it was announced by ESPN and Conference USA on Thursday. The game will kick off at 8:15 p.m. MDT in El Paso, Texas, (7:15 p.m. MST in Tucson) and be televised on ESPN.

The Wildcats open the season with consecutive home games beginning with Northern Arizona on Saturday, Sept. 2, and Houston on Saturday, Sept. 9.

The move to a Friday night contest in El Paso provides Arizona a full week of preparation for the Pac-12 opener in Tucson a week later. The Wildcats host Utah on Friday, Sept. 22, at Arizona Stadium. Kickoff time and television coverage again is likely to be announced by early summer.

Arizona then has its lone bye week of the regular season before finishing out the conference slate with eight consecutive weeks of action. All remaining games, including the Territorial Cup on Nov. 25, will be played on Saturdays.
