Expectations are as low as can be for the 2017 Arizona Wildcats football season.
The preseason Pac-12 media poll projects Arizona to finish last in the 6-team Pac-12 South division. Worse, Arizona's 61 votes were less than the 64 Cal garnered as the projected last-place team in the Pac-12 North.
Southern Cal, with 309 points, is picked to finish first in the South, followed by Utah, UCLA, Colorado and ASU.
Washington, the projected first-place team in the North, matched Southern Cal's 309 points and was followed by Stanford, Washington State, Oregon and Oregon State.
Arizona, which finished 3-9 last year, opens the season Sept. 2 against NAU.
