Arizona Basketball will be saying, "Buenos Dias" later this week.

The Wildcats are heading to Spain for an international trip in which they'll play three exhibition games.

"It's not really about trying to go 3-0," said head coach Sean Miller. "It's more about getting game experience. I don't know what the competition is going to be like. I don't even think that's our end game. We could play a great team and lose. We could play a bad team and win by a lot. That's not the purpose. The purpose is to get the comradery built."

The Wildcats first game will be against Combinado Valenciano on Sunday at noon Tuesday time. Games next week will be against the Mataro All-Stars and Mataro Parc Boet.

Senior center Dusan Ristic, who is from Serbia, has been to Spain twice.

"They have one of the best basketball traditions in the world," said Ristic. "I'm happy to be there. It's a great opportunity to play against some other teams from other countries."

"The trip to Spain is going to be fun," added junor Allonzo Trier. "We'll get to know the new guys and build some conradery. Anytime you get to start playing basketball early, that's great for us."
