After a sweep of the Los Angeles schools at McKale Center this weekend, the Arizona Wildcats have jumped to No. 12 in the AP Top 25 college basketball poll.
The five-spot leap from last week is a reward for Arizona's five-game winning streak.
Villanova remains No.1, followed by Kansas, Oklahoma, Iowa and North Carolina. Maryland is sixth, followed by Virginia. Xavier and Michigan State are tied for eighth, West Virginia is No. 10 and Miami is 11th.
At No. 16, Oregon is the only other ranked Pac-12 team.
Arizona hosts Arizona State at 7 p.m. Wednesday in a game televised on ESPN2.
