Two losses last week sent the Arizona Wildcats tumbling in the AP Top 25 college basketball rankings, falling from No. 9 to No. 18.
Kansas took control of the top spot, followed by Michigan State, Villanova, Virginia and Xavier.
Oregon, at No. 9, and Utah -- which, along with Colorado, beat Arizona last week -- at No. 13, moved ahead of Arizona in the poll. California, which entered the rankings this week at No. 25, is the fourth ranked Pac-12 team.
Arizona tries to snap its two-game losing streak when it hosts Cal at 7 p.m. Thursday.
