University High School may change its admission requirement

TUCSON, Ariz. — The pandemic is impacting Tucson Unified's University High School, it's a nationally recognized school.

The board will hear Tuesday night the new plans for admission.

Students from any district must take a specific test to get in, but the school suspended that because of the continuing pandemic.

The district has come up with alternative measures.

The primary change, using students last AzMERIT scores. It's for one year only.
