CHANDLER - One man is dead after a head-on collision occurred at the intersection of Chandler Boulevard and Price Road.
According to Chandler police, two vehicles crashed into each other at the intersection around 9 a.m.
The driver of one car suffered serious injuries and was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead. The identity of the deceased driver has not been released by police.
The second driver was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Chandler police are working to determine the cause of the crash. It is not known if impairment was a factor in the crash.
Police say lane restrictions and closures will remain in effect for “quite some time” as officials conduct an investigation.
