PHOENIX (AP) — Phoenix police say they located a homicide victim after being told of a killing by a man arrested after a female driver was wounded when stabbed through her car's open window.

Sgt. Tommy Thompson said 43-year-old Alan Demond Clark was arrested in the killing of Christopher Anthony Molinar and in the stabbing of the driver.

Thompson said the woman didn't know the man who stabbed her Friday night as she waited for a train to cross a street.

Thompson says officers quickly arrested Clark in the area and he blurted out that he'd stabbed somebody in a motel room.

Thompson says police then found Molinar dead.

Court records didn't list an attorney for Clark who could comment on his behalf.
