Great news! A 7-week-old puppy who was found with rubber bands wrapped tightly around his feet is heading to a foster home to continue his recovery.
“Little Foot,” as he has been named, was brought in to the Arizona Humane Society about two weeks ago by a good Samaritan. At the time, he had swollen feet making it difficult to walk, and nearly lost all circulation because of the rubber bands.
Shelter officials say the puppy had daily treatments including laser therapy and warm compress massages to promote blood flow and increase circulation.
The Humane Society says Little Foot's paws have improved incredibly over the past several days and the scabbing is almost gone.
Officials say the pup is already enjoying life in his new home and has even made some feline friends!
