A vehicle crash shut down Interstate 19 in both directions for hours Thursday in Nogales, the Arizona Department of Transportation reports.
The road reopened by noon.
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, a van rolled over into the median, seriously injuring one of the motorists. The road was shut down so a helicopter could airlift the victim for treatment.
There wes a second, non-injury collision in the area.
The freeway was shut down just south of the Grand Ave. interchange.
