TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - A wreck that shut down eastbound Interstate 10 at Congress Wednesday morning has reopened.
According to the Arizona Department of Transportation, a wrong-way car driver collided head-on with a semi at 1:14 a.m. The driver of the car, 25-year-old Brian Valenzuela, died in the crash. The semi-driver was not injured.
Valenzuela entered eastbound I-10 at Congress going the wrong way. Impairment has not been ruled out as a factor.
