TUCSON, Ariz. - Pima County Sheriff's deputies rescued a woman from a flooded eastside area Thursday, then issued her a citation.
According to deputy James Allerton, a 31-year-old woman tried to drive through a section of Tanque Verde Loop that was closed due to flooding. The car was stuck in the water and mud.
After crews rescued the woman and towed her car, they cited her for failure to obey a traffic control device.
