A 35-year-old mother was hospitalized after her apartment caught fire early Friday morning.
According to Tucson Fire, crews responded to the blaze in the 3000 block of North Alvernon at 1:27 a.m.
The woman woke up to find her bed on fire. A neighbor helped the woman and her three children -- ages 11, 9 and 3 -- escape the apartment, and firefighters had the flames under control within 20 minutes.
The cause is under investigation.
