An 18-year-old woman died in a westside car wreck Tuesday morning.
Pima County Sheriff's deputies say the crash was near the intersection of North Kinney Road and West McCain Loop around 6:30 a.m.
A deputy was driving in the area and saw a vehicle that had driven off the roadway. He found a woman with obvious signs of trauma.
The woman killed in the crash has been identified as 18-year-old Katalina Arellano.
Deputies determined Arellano was not wearing her seatbelt and also believe speed to be a factor in the crash.
