TUCSON, Ariz. - A woman arrested after she allegedly hit and killed 62-year-old Roberto Lopez north of town in early May reached a plea deal Monday.
Daniela Shelby pleaded guilty to leaving the scene of an accident resulting in serious physical injury or death, a third-degree felony.
Shelby originally faced additional charges, including aggravated driving under the influence and manslaughter.
The wreck happened near East Sunrise Drive and North Hacienda del Sol Road.
Shelby will be sentenced at 9 a.m. Jan. 30.
