The second driver involved in a car crash on West Anklam Road on June 26 has died from her injuries in hospital.
Pima County Sheriff's Department identified her in a news release as 76-year-old Linda Parke Alderson.
UPDATE (10:36 a.m. 06/27):
Tucson Police have identified the victim who died in Thursday's west-side crash as 35-year-old Luccia Rose Romeo.
According to a TPD news release, Romeo was driving eastbound on West Anklam Road, west of Silverbell, when, for reasons unknown, she crossed over the center lane and into oncoming traffic.
Romeo crashed head-on into a 2017 Honda Fit driven by a 76-year-old woman. Romeo was pronounced dead at the scene. The Honda driver was taken to Banner University Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
Detectives believe a medical issue may have contributed to Romeo's driving behavior, the news release said.
The investigation is ongoing.

West Anklam Road is closed in both directions at N. Camino Santiago, west of North Silverbell Road, due to a fatal crash, according to Tucson Police Department.
According to a Twitter post from Tucson Fire, one person died and three were transported to the hospital.
TPD advises that drivers avoid the area and seek alternate routes.
