A prayer/vigil will be held at 6 p.m. Sunday night to honor and remember Officer Jesus Cordova.
Ofc. Cordova was lost his life while on duty earlier this week.
Nogales Police say the vigil will be at the site where Ofc. Cordova offered his life in an act of protection. This is on Mesa Verde Drive at the corner of Villas Market.
The vigil is open to the public and the entire community is invited.
A GoFundMe page has been started to support Cordova's family as they work through this tragedy.
