Tucson police say a 72-year-old woman involved in a southside car wreck Friday has died.
Amelia Gardner died from injuries suffered in a wreck near Midvale Park Road and Oak Tree Drive just before 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 7.
Gardner drove a blue Chevrolet Cobalt was westbound on Oak Tree and made a southbound turn onto Midvale Park Road in front of a tan Ford Explorer, causing a wreck. Police say Gardner was responsible. She died Wednesday from her injuries.
