A utility pole is down in front of the Arizona Trucking and Materials Co. on E Illinois St, just east of Contractors Way.
KGUN 9's Marc Monroy was on scene where crews were seen attending to the damage and about 10 to 12 trucks were working on restoring the power lines.
TEP tells KGUN: "We’re responding to reports of strong, gusty winds that damaged equipment in the area. At least 40 customers are out of service. We’re working on restoration now."
