Pima County Sheriff's deputies say two horses died and a motorist was injured in a two-vehicle Sunday night wreck south of Tucson.
According to department spokesman Ira Sewell, the accident happened just before 9 p.m. near Lumber Street and Nogales Highway.
The motorist suffered non-life threatening injuries.
