TUCSON, Ariz. - A downtown hotel is looking to fill openings with a job fair.
The Tuxon, which will open at 960 S. Freeway Road., needs front desk attendants, night auditors, room attendants, laundry attendants, house person positions, room inspectors, housekeeping supervisors, engineers, maintenance attendants and security guards. More than 20 positions are open.
Applicants should bring their resumes to the job fair at Arizona Theatre Company Gallery Room, 343 S. Scott Ave., between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Dec. 5.
Dubbed The Tuxon, the 112-room hotel will be located near Interstate 10 at 960 S. Freeway Road.
The hotel is expected to open in the first quarter of 2020.
Amenities will include walk-in rain showers, 1GB fiber internet and 50-inch HDTVs.
Focus Hospitality Management will operate the hotel.
