Tucsonan Liam Pace won a gold medal at an X Games event in Minneapolis Friday.
Pace, a 17-year-old who will attend the University of Arizona in the fall, won the Next X Skateboard Park gold, topping fellow American Gavin Bottger and Brazilian Luiz Francisco.
