Tucson Veterans remember Senator John McCain

TUCSON, Ariz. - Veterans are remembering a man they call an American hero, Senator John McCain.

The death of the late Senator, especially hard for local Veterans because they say, McCain fought for them.  When they asked - he delivered.

"He was a leader, a hero, and an awesome legislator. Arizona loved him and the nation loved him. He spoke his mind and I think, he will never be replaced honestly, and he was dedicated," said Vietnam Veteran, Robert Webber.

Vietnam veteran, Ken Whitecotton, says many veterans have so much to thank the late Senator for. "we appreciate his efforts for fighting for us on the home front."
