TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Military people now have a Starbucks in Tucson designed to help them feel at home.

The Starbucks at Broadway and Campbell welcomes everyone but it has a military theme now.  The coffee chain makes a special effort to hire veterans and members of their families for all its stores.

Aaron Johnsen is an Army Reservist.  He says Starbucks is helping him advance his military career.

"They offer me paid time off for my training which is something I'd never find anywhere else.  I also am going to school.  I'm working on commissioning at this time.  They pay for all of my tuition that I do online at ASU."

Starbucks gives veterans or military spouses, special aprons with American flags on them, and embroidery that shows which branch of the service they served.
