TUCSON, Airz. — Pima County Sheriff's department is conducting a rescue for a car in flooded water at the Tanque Verde loop wash in Tucson, Ariz.

Per PCSD, there is a burgundy van with stuck in the water with water up to the middle of tires and the Tucson Fire Department could be on the way to assist.

When flooding occurs during storms, drivers are advised to avoid water that is over 6 inches deep, which, according to the City of Tucson, can cause the following: loss of control of the vehicle or possible stalling, and cars can begin floating in a foot of water.
