TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Tucson Police are cracking down on holiday thefts by going undercover.
The number of thefts, burglaries and robberies rise during the holiday season and the most common target is malls and shopping centers.
Undercover policemen stationed themselves at Park Place Mall so that they were ready to respond right away and make arrests on the spot.
They will be doing this throughout the holiday season at different shopping centers.
