TUCSON, Ariz. - A Tucson man was sentenced Monday to 90 years in federal prison in a child porn case.

Phillip Daniel Love, 34, pleaded guilty to distritbution, possession and production of child pornography in Septemeber 2018.

If Love is ever released from prison, he will have lifetime supervision and must register as a sex offender.

According to the U.S. Department of Justice, agents from Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) arrested Love in July 2017 after finding more than 1,200 images and 270 images of sexual abuse of pre-pubescent children. Love also created child pornography of a toddler while video chatting with the child's caretaker.

“Love exploited a toddler in the recording of child pornography, and distributed hundreds of pornographic images of other children, all within weeks of his release from custody on a similar offense,” said United States Attorney Michael Bailey, in a statement. “His shocking conduct is deserving of the lengthy prison sentence he received.”
