TUCSON, Ariz. - Bartender Eric Smith made the most of an opportunity of a lifetime for a trivia fan.
The Tucson man, who tends bar at Kingfisher, has always enjoyed playing along with "Jeopardy!" while watching from home.
Tonight, Smith gets his chance to show the world what he can do in one of the contestants' hot seats. Smith will appear on the episode airs at 4:30 p.m. Thursday on KGUN9.
Smith said he honed his trivia skills by watching the show and reading a lot. He took an online test to qualify.
"It happens once a year and it's free," he said. "You never know, and that's kind of how I started and look where I am now, I guess."
