A Union Pacific train struck and killed a person at Interstate 10 and West Grant Road Tuesday morning. Union Pacific did not confirm whether the person was a man or a woman.
According to Union Pacific, the person was trespassing on Union Pacific property. The train crew was not injured, and support is being offered to crew members who were operating the train at the time of the incident, UP said.
