TUCSON, Ariz. — Tucson police are looking for a man they say ran over a bicyclist and then hit another man who tried to help.

It happened in the 5100 block of South Treat Avenue around 12:45 p.m. on Friday.

Tucson police said the driver got into some sort of altercation with the man on the bicycle and ran him over. Then, when that man called for help the driver also hit that person with the SUV.

They said he was driving a dark green jeep type vehicle. It would now have damage to the front end and the passenger side of the car.

Police describe the driver as a man with curly hair. They don't have any further description.

Both men who were hit by the SUV were taken to the hospital, one has life-threatening injuries.

Police are asking anyone with information about this incident, or who sees the vehicle to call 88-crime.
