Terrance Ferguson, one of the country's top-rated basketball recruits, has reneged on his commitment to play at the University of Arizona and will play professionally abroad instead.
“Terrance Ferguson informed me earlier this week that he has decided to pursue professional opportunities instead of attending the University of Arizona this fall," Arizona basketball coach Sean Miller said in a statement. "I hope this next chapter of his basketball career goes well, and his goal of one day becoming an NBA player is realized.”
Arizona's recruiting class still includes highly-rated players Rawle Atkins, Lauri Markkanen, Kobi Simmons and Keanu Pinder.
