Tucson International Airport will offer direct flights to Minneapolis-St. Paul starting Dec. 21.
The flights will be offered Mondays, Wednesdays and Sundays via Sun Country Airlines.
"We are thrilled to welcome Sun Country Airlines back to Tucson International Airport," said Bonnie Allin, President and CEO of the Tucson Airport Authority, in a statement. "Giving southern Arizonans more opportunities to fly is a priority for the TAA. This time we also look forward to welcoming more Midwesterners to come enjoy our great weather and community."
Sun Country will operate the flights on a 737-700 plane with 126 seats, 12 of which are first class.
