Tucson police say one man died and two others were injured in an east side shooting Sunday night.
Police have identified the man who died as 28-year-old Angel Valenzuela.
Police say the gang-related incident happened at the Mayfair Manor apartment complex, 5180 E 22nd Street, at 9:30 p.m. The three victims were approached by an unknown male suspect while they were sitting in a vehicle in the parking lot of the complex.
A verbal altercation ensued, the suspect pulled out a handgun and fired multiple rounds into the vehicle.
The second adult victim has non-life threatening injuries, and the teenage victim has serious injuries but is expected to survive.
The incident is being investigated as a homicide.
