TUCSON, Ariz. — 58,300 names of men and women who gave their lives are written on the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington DC.

As Veterans traveling replica is available for viewing and paying respects at Casino Del Sol. The American Veterans Travelling Tribute Memorial Wall is an 80 percent scale version of the original. It stands 8 feet high at the apex and is 360 feet long. Today was the first full day of viewing on the pool lawn at Casino Del Sol. Vietnam veterans, current service members, and family and friends of the fallen looked for the names they knew today.

“They were committed enough to say yes I’ll lay my life down for the country for their people,” said Vietnam Era Veteran Luis Canez. “It is humbling, they are not here in body but they are in spirit. “

Viewing hours are from 8 to 6 through the weekend and until 3 p.m. on Monday.

A dedication ceremony will happen here at the pool lawn on Saturday at ten am.
