TFD crews put out midtown house fire

TUCSON, Ariz. - Tucson Fire crews put out a fire in midtown Monday morning.

According to the department, crews arrived in the 500 block of South 9th Avenue at 5:54 a.m. and had the blaze under control by 6:11 a.m.

A neighbor used a residential hose to spray the fire until crews arrived. Firefighters pulled down the ceiling from below to confirm that the fire was under control.

No one was injured. The cause and damage are under investigation.
