Claims of death and injury from exploding airbags is driving the Takata company into bankruptcy.

Arizona is part of the story.

Takata's worldwide operations include a large warehouse in Douglas.

The warehouse handles distribution of seatbelts that a Takata factory makes just across the border in Agua Prieta, Mexico.

It is estimated that the Douglas warehouse employs between 20 and 49 workers.

The company buying most of Takata's assets says it does not expect to make any large changes in employment or what employees are paid.
