Swisshelms Fire near Elfrida stops growing

The Swisshelms Fire 10 miles east of Elfrida has torched 10,950 acres since starting June 27. 

According to the Arizona Department of Forestry and Fire, the Swisshelms fire is 75 percent contained.

There is a total of 166 peeople assigned with 4 crews, 3 engines, 3 tenders, 2 bulldozers, 3 helicopters, and miscellaneous overhead.

The cause of the fire is still undetermined.

Stage 2 fire restrictions are in effect for Cochise, Greenlee, Graham, Pima, Pinal and Santa Cruz.
