A Sierra Vista pet shelter is offering discounted adoptions through the end of October.
The Nancy J. Brua Animal Care Center, 6799 AZ-90, treated several pit bulls with kennel cough. Those animals are available for $50. Cats are $25 rather than the usual $50 rate.
The center is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays-Fridays and from noon to 5 p.m. Saturdays.
